Olu Olamigoke is a track coach and an Olympian, having just competed at the Olympics in Brazil. Born as the youngest of four to Nigerian immigrant parents, I’m a living testament of where faith, family, and following your dreams can lead. Despite being the only member of my family born outside of Nigeria’s borders, I’m blessed to have maintained a strong connection with my family’s heritage. This includes limitless ambition, and genetics that ensure I’ll look like a teenager for the majority of my adult life. As a kid, the depths of my imagination were limitless. The majority of my childhood days were spent running and jumping around outside, reading books, and chasing the ice cream truck. These childhood pastimes are still in play today, and have distilled into the passions of my adulthood: testing the limits of the human body and mind, inspiring others, and mastering the art of the triple jump. Olu has Bachelor's of Science, Kinesiology (Fitness Specialist), is NASM Certified Personal Trainer, a USATF Level 1 Certified Coach and NCAA Division 1 Coach. As an athlete Olu participated in Rio 2016 Olympian, is a 2x Nigerian National Triple Jump Champion, is Yop 5 in Nigerian History. Top 15 in African History, and 2x NCAA All-American.
